ABSTRACTs The contact zones between the layers of Akohagyl stakep ciontain-
ing oil and natural gas, and the underlying reddish-oolored de-
posits as well as the Aspheron layer to be found above ito.were
defined by means of field ob.servations, mioro-.and macrofauna
identifications and petrographic analysis. The knowledgo ob-
tained gives evidence an to the various conditions in -thip con-
tacts whereby the lower ~.orders were more clearly defined than
