PERIODICAL: Chekhoal. tyazb. prom-at, 1958, Nr 5, pp 2-8
ABSTRACT: Design, distinctive features, and technical data of the foAlowing
equipment are presented: i~l) TAK 1, TAK 3, and TAK 8 contact welding
machines intended for welding steel, copper. and aluminum wire. (2) A semi-
automatic type TP60 butt-welding machine with a pneumatic clamping of tht~
parts being welded, with the maximum cross-section of the part 2,000 mm4
(low-carbon steel). (3) Automatic type TAU40 and TAU80 butt-welding
machines (can also butt-weld a closed circuit) with a maximum cross-sectiozi
1, 2,00 and 2, 000 rnmZ (low-carbon steel) respectively. (4) Type SP60
machines for longitudinal and transverse roller seam welding the titeel shetts
up to 2 x 2 mm thick (weldin,g rate f rom 0 - 8 to 3 m/min) . (5) Portable

suspension -type seam-mpelding high-power vus 6o/ izo machine with a
hydraulic drive; the machine is intended for welding steel sheets 3x I mm
thick. An electronic sync),ronized control secures the possibility of producing
a continuous hermetic searn or points with any desirable separation between
them. (6) LP60, LP120, LP200, and LP300 welding presses intended for
welding the parts with crovs-sections 90, 250, 450, and 550 mm2 respectively.
(7) VUS250 welding press for both resistance and flash welding, and some
other types.

ABSTRACT: Results of induoing 11,606 hypoglycaemic
coma in 303 patients are discuilsed. Insulin potentiation by
means of ganglion-bloOdng agents increases the incidence of I
epileptic seizures and protrac';ed comas; potentiation with
tolbutamide decreaseo the inci(JencS of epileptio paroxysm and
protracted comao. Intravenous ifisulin Injection reduces the
incidence of after-shocks; epileptic seizures are more frequent
in men, and after-ahocks-in women. Mortality due to epileptic
seizures, protracted comas And after-shooks Is 2.1%, while m0ra
