The Problem of Processing Aeromagnstograms and the Ways of Its
Solution
to approximately 22,000 T . Before processing the
aercmagnetogram, the
following information must be addeds the values of the
horizontal scale,
the guide lines, the coefficient of correction for the
horizontal soale
and the correction values. The principal and kinematic diagrams
and
also a general view of the device are shown. Preliminary
computations
show that the efficiency of processing magnetograms may be
increased by
five times when using the developed device.

ABSTRACT: Me aritcle traces the development of Czechoslovak
artillery frcrn the
participation of five Czechoslovak artillery regiments in the
battle near Jaslo,
Poland, in January, 1945, and reviews subsequent development
trends in Soviet and
Czechoslovak artillery. It is pointed out that the trend to
eliminate classical
artillery has turned attention to possibilities or expanding the
uses of mortars,
cheap weapons of simple design and construction whose range and
accuracy has been
considerably Increased. Any such weapon of ;LOOm calibre and
above, like all con-
ventional artillery, can fire atomic shells.11 The importance of
rocket artillery,
including @Aided udssilea, especra-117a~santi-tank weapons, is
underlined. The
development trend here Is in the direction of llg~ter propulsion
charEps and heavier
warbeads, Orig. art. has 3 figares.

ABSTRACT.- The power of disc frictiontin microturbine 'a may be as
much as 20-25%
of the effective turbine power. Formulas are derived for
determining the pover
of friction.for the disc of the wheel in axial and centripetal
turbines. Ex-
perimental data obtained on a Promy brake are given for the power
of disc fric-
tion. Graphs are given for the coefficient of disc friction as a
function of
the Reynolds number. When Re>105, the clearance between the disc
and the
stationar7 housing has no effect on the coefficient of friction

20260 ("Sb. tr. Vses. n.-i. in-t tverdykh splavov", 1960,

It was established that the decrease of mechanical and
cutting
properties of TiC-WC-Co sintered carbides when replacing
Co by nickel, depends
on the amount of structurally free WC. Maximum decrease is
observed in grade
T15KIO (Tl5KlO) sintered carbides. With a higher TiC
content the difference in
the properties of sintered carbides with Cc and Ni
decreases; at 30% TiC
(sintered carbide - T30Kjj) no reduction of physical,
mechanical and cutting
properties was observed. The operational strength of type
T-15 sintered carbide
with a coarse-grained T-phase is higher than that of a
carbide with a fine-
grained T-phase. Data were obtained on the effect of
N1203-reduction temperature

ABSTRACT: Tiais Author Certificate introduces a method of
fabricating shell f9lon
fiberglass wound on a pattern which is then selted out or
dissolved. To incream the
strength of the shell, the winding is combined with the
stretching of fiber by unans,
of a fiber guide which rotates around the pattatue

A study was made of a tumour of the lacrimal gland.
It is considered imperative
that examinations be carried out from the
reticulo-endotheUonodular point of view,
as theme may explain the pathogenesis of a series of
affections of the eye. The case
reported to that of a man aged 38 yr.. who presented
a nut-sized mobile tumour
of the lacrimal gland without pr*-auricular
adenopathy. Diagnosis: benign tumour.
Negative tuberculin reaction. Nothing special "
regards the general condition. On
MOS" C (5 AIV
histological examination the excised turnour presented
the characteristic appearan-
ce of epithetionodular reticulosis of the
Bennier-Doeck-Schaumann type. Well-
demarcated nodules of different sizes separated from
each other by a slightly vas-
cularized connective tissue with rare lymphocytes, and
no arteritis with oblitera-
tion of the arterioles, an observed by certain
authors. The nodules were formed by
epithelial elements surrounded by lymphocytes forming
a capsule. sometimes in
the centre of the nodules, a zone of necroblosis, and
very rarely. giant cells. Be-
tween the nodules glandular formations with intact
epithelium and stratum basale
and round the excretory canals adult collagen
elements, histiocytes and plasmo-
cytes. reticuUn fibres penetrating into the interior
of the nodules. No caselfication.
M. tuberculosis was not observed. Inoculations of
tissue into the guinea-pig re-
rnained negative. All these facts point to the
diagnosis of nodular epithelioid reti-
culosis with sole localization In the lacrimal gland.
In the literature it is related
to the generaUzed disease. It is concluded that in the
presence in the lacrimal
gland of a painless. torpid formation without twidency
to fistulization an in tb, one
should think of Beanier-Boack-Schaumann's disease. In
this case. operation is not
urgent. as cure of the glandular loc&UzaUons to
produced after a few months. 71he
prognosis to doubtful for the localIzation in the uvea
and the optic nerve in which
the intraeranial spr#ad is obsemd. Pusearlu -

Certain aetiopathogenic problems of trachoma are
considered. factors which favour
trachomatous infection (certain constitutional
anomalies. especially a lymphaden-
oidstructure) occupying the first rank. Other
important factors are habitation and
climate. The recent Rumanian statistics show the
quantitative and qualitative re-
gression of trachoma in Rumania. At present, the
majority of the benign cases
are made up of hypertrophic lymphadenoid forms with
moderate infectious charac-
teristics, responding weU to modem treatments. It is
believed that the favourable
course of these forms should be considered a
relative victory of the lymphadenold
tissue over the pathogenic agent. Nataf - Tunis
