Title Skin Cancer and Its Early Dinanosis.

Abstract Seven-hundred-and-sixty-nine cases (355 men and 414
women) of skin cancer (SC) were analyzed. The majority
of the patients was older than 40 years of age. In 81
percent of the cases cancer was localized in the areas
of the bridge of the nosep the inner corners of the eye,
the suborbital cavityy the naeolabial fold, and the skin
of the upper lip. In 13.3 percent of the cases primary
SC vas found in the area of the forehead, on the super-
ciliary arches, on the cheeks) the auricles, the lids, and

ABSTRACT: Losses in a detuned resonator were determined experimentally,
by studying the threshold excitation energy as a function of the mirror
alignment angle in resonators of various lengths. Measurements were
carried out on a ruby laser consisting of a rod 65 mm long and 12 mm
in diameter. One of the resonator mirrors was coated with a multilayer
dielectric whose coefficient of.reflection was 1. The other mirror
was 92% reflective and could be rotated around the vertical axis by any
angle from 0 to 2% The mirror angle accuracy was checked by a colli-
mator within 3 sec of arc. In order to reduce the effect of Fresnel
scattering, the second ruby end was coated. It was established that
the minimum distance between mirrors at which nonaxial (undesirable)
modes were not observed was 35 cm. Losses induced by resonator

TEXT: The solubility of liquid phases in the ternary systems
phenol (I) - pyrid ine (II) - isooctane (III) and phenol - aniline - III
vas studied. The lines of the ternary critical points in the system
I -II -III, unlike the system I -II -water, which has a comparable
character (Mertalin, R. V., Zh. org. khimii, v- 7, 1936, 1828), exhibit
no maxima, which is ascribed to the varying solubility of the compound
C6H5OH-C 5H5N in water and III. In the system I -aniline -III there is a
demixing range above the critical points of the demixing border systems.

the relationship of cerium chloride'and various salt components in a broad range

of technology for the separation and purification of rare earth elements. The
deteymination of the solubility of salt components was conducted by the isothermal
