ABSTRACT On the basis of laboratory studies a "'echno-
logical production method has been worked out for the
processing of oats which comprises the following steps:
1) production of groats in the usual manner; 21 preparati,
of malt extract by grinding of barley malt screening and
steeping in water for 2 hours at 20-250; 33 boiling of
groats to a 405o moisture content- 4) saccharification of
boiled groats with malt extract in an amount of Mb, for
21+ hours at 55-65c; 5) rolling of flakes.
