transmission at this temperature in 3 lentogenie, 4

and 2 velogenic NDV strains indicated that thermal
stability may
be used to dif.Perentiate between virulent and
non-vixr-ilent strains.
Lentogenic strains cannot be distinguished from mesogenic
ones by
this method. HA activity of lentogenic and mesogenio
strains is
inactivated at 560C within 4 to 8 minutes, velogenic
strains re-

anesthesia with ether and chloroform, and laparotomy is
described.
Anesthesia causes the reduction in the glutathione content

a few hours following it; laparatomy has a long-term
reducing
effect lasting for 2 days. Changes in the liver are greater
