therapy,
local administration of corticosteroids, gold, chloroquine therapy
are evaluated. The general effect of salicylates on the body, the
action mechanism of gold and the probability of a retarding effect
of
corticosteroids on heart lesions are discussed. Alternate use of
various
drugs and the selection of the treatment according to stages of the
disease are recommended. 1 Hungarian, 23 Western references.

The Influence of glaze

vibrations
thus created reduce the mechanical strength of the
porcelain. As the frequency increases, the strength

Title : Modulus of elasticity of high-voltage porcelain as a
characteristic of mechanical strength
Periodical : Elektrichestvo, 4, 53-55* AP 1955
Abstract In order to determine the relationship between the
modulus of elasticity and mechanical strength and,
in particular, the dependence of this modulus on
intramolecular intervals, the authors studied the
simplest case of hard bodies, namely, crystals of cubical
syngony of AX type. They describe the resonance
method applied in measuring the modulus and find that
the above relationshipis linear. They establish an
empirical formula for this relationship, which gives
satisfactory results close to the experimental ones.
