.suggest the concept ot a contral pathogenesis of the syndrome of vestibular-
vegetative hyperexcitability affecting flight personnel. The curative-prophylactic
measures suggested arit a rational flight program, slowly progressive vestibular
demands, relaxation cares md neurotropic medication, as well as inclusion of tests
of the vestibular apparatus in the medical entrance examination for flight persomel.

gine (bypass jet engine) which is installed in the nev IITU-~24" j~at liner,
designed by A. 11. Tupolev., The turbofan jet engine consisti of a multi-
stagq axial compressor point 1), the combustion chinbc=z (2), the
main turbine (3), and the 'turbine fan (4) -wrhi'ch is provided with larGe
blades enclosing in a ring the fan nozzle (5). The now jet enCine increas,2S
the take-off thrust by 35/ at a fuel-consumption reduced by 155/- This en-
gine is less noisy 'than the conventional jet eng-ines. The !jy-gazz jet en-
gines represent an ideal power plant for airc.-aft, vdth a spi-ed of Y, - 0.8 -
