Abstract A form of U. tritioi (Pars.) "Tens. which chiefly
attaoks soft wheat is widespread in Flortbern Ka-
zakhstan and Western Siberia. Hard whout is m
mildly infected by it, but Is severely stricken
in years of open blossoming. The pathogen
changes its parasitic traits after having produc-
ed several genorations on hard wheat. Thus a
fungus form emerges whiob is capable of striking

emergency signals and oil yield data to a central station, and

mitted from contact transmitters which vere developed and produced

ABSTFAC-T- The flying scrapers employed in scraping paraff-in from oilwell
p1poes are r,~gulated by recording manometers. Such control is inefficient
and must be replaced by remote control ard RAS-1 emergency signal relays.
A RAS-1 relay (Fig. 1) consis-,s of a relaxation os-,,11lator mounted on a
MEKh-90 cold-cathode thyratron, and of a storage cell In which the storing
cycle is determined by the thyratron ignJtion point and the charging time
c~onstant of the capar-itor, The relaxation cscillator consists of Rj.,, R2J,
and R3 resistors, a C, capacitor, and a MrKh-90(L) thyrarrDn. in 'c~~e of
Jamming the relaxaUon oscillator gets a voltage of 140 v f.-.)r charging the
4apacitor through the R 21 Rt, and R 3 resistors. The RAS-1 relay is
designed to operate efficiently in the temperature range of -50 to + 50"
and maintain the prescribed time lag. This is secured through t=-
perature compensation by means of a KW-1 thermistor of P-70 kilo-obm.
In case of JE=ing the emergency signal goes off ()0 mimites after the
Initiation of the operating cycle and in caL:e of detentlon in the in-
duction coil it goes off 5 minutes later. The aLgnal lasts the entire

the ionization caused by this pair is lose than the double ionization of an
electron. This phenomenon was theoretically investigated by A.E.6UDAKOV
(Izv.Akad.Nauk SSSR, ji, 650 (1955). The present report de3cribes a different
derivation of the formula of ionization slowing-down of such a pair in order
to define the limits of its applicability with precision. For this purpose the
authors used LANDAU'S method for the derivation of the formula of ionization
losses at high energies (within range of the polarization effect). If electrot
