coimected plants whose internal properties determine the presence of finite or differential

ABSTRACT: Th~3 phase diagrams of the binary systems Ti--Ir, over the while concentra~�
Lion region, and Ti--Rh from 110--100 at. ;~ Rh were determined (see Figs. 1 and 2).
The diagrams s~rere constz�ucted on the basis of microstructural and x-ray analysis
data. Photographs of alloy polished sections are presented. It was found that the
system Ti--Ir exhibits three intermediate phases: ~, b, and ~. The crystal
lattice of each intermediate phase was determined. The system Ti--Rh exhibits two
intermediate phases: ~, and ~. The latter phase, at an Rh content of 57 to 60 at.y~,
suffers a rearrangement, the nature of which is not yet clear and which requiares

effect on the resistance of. CiCanium in a l:l mixCurc of nitric acid
with hydrochloric Acid. Rhodium im~~rove, considerably the t�caist~~ncc
~of .titanium in hydrofluoric acid anti its mixture with nitric ncidp
but the dissolution mites remain very his;h. In a l:l mixture of
nitric and hydrofluoric acids, tt~e dissolution rate of an alloy with
~l0 at% Rh is, for instance, 6.32 mglcm2`min, while that of unalloyed
