ABSTRACT: The design and operation of P~h1307 mass-spectrometer is
described. This spectrometer is formed by combining a chromatograph
with a twa-bEfam magnetic mass-spectrometer. A laboratory version of
Khromass-2 speatrometer served as a prototype for lt'ikh1307 type. The
arrangement tai' Mkh1307 chromato-mans-s ectrameter is schematically
shown on Carcl 2/2. The ahromatograph ~~.) is connected via adore-valve
(2) to the ion-source (3} of the mass-spectrometer which is equipped
with two lar~~e (4 and 5) and two small (6 and 7) collectors. By~ using
a switch (8} the collectors can be connected to a set of two electro-
meter amplifjlers (9~~ Double ion currents are automatically recorded

I. Invosti~ations Concerning; the Simultaneous Solubility of Ur~~r,yl I;itrate
and Nitrates a.C Alkaline-Earth Metals in Water
-- ~3a(NO )? - H 0 at 0, 25 and 50oC. In the system
UO (NO ~, - Sr~NO )~ - H, 0 three saluliility curve: were dQ-
tcrmin~d2at 25 C ~hich correspond to the solubility of
Sr(NO )2�~ H2O, of anhydrous strontium nitrate and of haxa-
nitra~e-uranyl-nitrate.
UO2(N03)2 - Ca(P10. )2 - Fi20 has critical points at 0 and 25�C
in the cs,se of 6,~G ~ U02(N03)L, X13,32 ~ Ca(NO;~)~ rind 7,~2~
Uo2(NO3)2, 50,0 ~ cE~(rro )~.
At the applied temperatures no double salts were detected in
any of the three systems. There are 3 figures, 3 tables, and
3 references, 1 of wYiich is Slavic.

by the isothermic method:
