sheep erythrocytes, have a reduced antibody-formation. 3;3-Dimercaptopropanol
caruio!t influence the paralysing effect of X-rays on the formation of antibodies.
2:3-Dlmercaptopropanol can only influence in a very eli~;ht degree the harmful
effect of X-rays on the qualitative and quantitative white blood picture: the dif-

Abstract : Suspensions of human erythrocytes ( E) of the ~rc~up
AB were introduced to rabbits and dogs. After 15
min., shock developed, during which the Indices of
thrombocytes, leucocytes, absolute number of
eosinophi].es, relative number (by 10-12~) of se(;-
mente~d granulocytes, and ESR decreased, and rela-
tive lymphocytosis developed.
