ABSTRACT: An experiment was performed on 62 workers employed in!a large industrial
establishment in Silesia to study the effects of stress on the human body.: Of these,
37 worked under stress of noise, .11bration, and dust, and the remaining 25 worked
without noise or vibration. All the workers were in good health~prior to the ex;-
periment. Evaluation of the results obtained showed that there was a statistically
significant increase in the activities of serum aldolose and, lactic dehydrogencaue in
-orkers subjected to stress. The serum alkaline phosphatase showed a decrease in the

The methods of work were deseirbed formerly (~.rhivj
kem6y 19951, 23, 200 ). All the measurements were carr----
out at 21-60. The solubility rise with the complex forma-
tion is approximately the same in the cases of isodielec-
tric water-alcohol mixtures independently of the used
alcohol. Tioxane produces a somewhat different effect.
The obtained data were compared with the data published
formerly (report XIV) RZhKhir,,? 3958, 641).
XVI. The process of Ag, Pb and La iodate precipita-
tion from aqueous solutions of electrolytes was studied
an& the concentration rangesy in which their separation
proceeded in the solid phase, were investigated. The
concentrp-tions, at wbich the precipitation takes place)
agree with the data of other authors (RZI-Xhim, J-95r.
26012; 1957, 22335, 50711) only in the case of Ag 103'
