Orig Pub: Polish patent 37514 of June 2, 1955. Abstract: A method of pressing unburnt basic refractory objects in metal frames (F) is described in detail. The frames (0-5 to 6.5 mm thick) are characterized by that their lower part inserted into thepress box consists of two side walls bent at an angle ~-900 and a bottom, and the upper part is fixed to the upper stamp of the press. A projection is also fixed on the upper stamp, it produces a recess in the object used for suspending the ready object on the furnace fittings - After the frame parts have been Card 1/2 -99- POLUM/Chemical TL-chnology. In order to keep the frame on the object more securely, holes are made in the upper part, the bottort and the side walls, 8 holes in each upper part and bottom and 4 holes in each side wall, and the edges of these holes are bent inside. After the pressing the object is covered with a metal frame on 4 sides. Abstract: A statistical evaluation was made of the Incidence of various types of hapto.globin amone the healthy and tuberculotic population. The data on the tb cases were also evaluated with respect to the responsive. ness of the disease to treatment as well as to the Koch positive and negative cases. The differences were found to be significant Insofar that there was a greater incidence of the Rpl gene in the cases which were Koch positive for a lengthy period or had a poor ~ro(mosis. The presence of gene type HP2-2 was indicative of a more favorable reaction by the patients. 3 Hun- garian, 3 Western references. ---HMROCII, Z. Relations between fluorescence spectrum, thermal radiation spectrum, and quantum efficiency; the effects of extinction, excitation light freque: and solvent on the relations between absorption and emission spectra; and relations between the excited molecules and the liquid medium were investigated to establish and extend the validity of the Stepanov relation. The techniques empl*yed and the results obtained in these investigations were presented and discussed in detail. The techniques described included a novel one based on local temperature.
