The occurrence of outoantibodies against placenta, liver. kidney and myocardium
was investigated in pregnant women suffering from pregnnncy toxaemia und in ;% I
group of healthy pregnant women. The autoantibodies were found in 47 out of 66
women with pregnancy toxaemia and in 1.3 out of 47 healthy pregnant women. It is
of interest that among 13 healthy pregnant women with autoantibodics there were
4 cases of postmaturity and 4 stillbirths. In evaluating individual antibodica the
authors found that least frequent are antibodies against the placenta. The ishmos

ABSTRACT: The following types of heat exchange surfaces are the most com-
monly used in connection with air cooleraj round tubes with
round or rectangu,'lar ribs9 round tubes with spiral-shaped ribsg
flat tubes with ribs (radiators) drop-shaped tubes with ribag
*round tubes with wire ribso General requirement for all our-
faces is maximum compactness. Antuflyev and Beletskiy ~ave-for-
mulated these requirements as follows8 height.- O~3 to 0-4 d,
material of ribs - copper or aluminum, distance between ribs -
2-4 mm, thickness of ribs - 0.2 - 0-4 mm, arrangement of pipes
in checkerboard fashiong as closely as possible. For the purpose
of selecting a surface, a comparison of the various types of heat
exchange surfaces has been made and arranged iz& the form of a

equal energy consumption, equal air quantities and equal tempera-
ture conditions~ The smallest weight was obtained with type 4
(flat tube with ribs) and type 5 (drop-shaped tube with ribs~;
the smallest volume belonged to type 2 (round tube with ribsj
and type 4 (flat tube with ribs).

A tumour the size of a child's head - carcinoma planocellulare - was removed by
right pneumectomy from. the inferior 11obe of the right lung of a woman aged 37.
Based on this case and relevant references the anatomical and histological features,
clinical picture, diagnostic methods and surgical tr.!atment are presented. The
authors accept the opinion about the causative role of tobacco.
