ABSTRACTs The d-lpicolinia said content of resting BAcillus cersus, spores# contained
in a dense AQU001A8j has been studied after Irradiation. Spectrophotometry and
chrouatography were used to study the substances which leaked from the bacterial
cells following their irradiation with lethal doses. It was established that the
f'p3audogermination" which can be observed in the resting spores after irradiation
with high doses is in correlation with the increaxed parmeability of the cell wall.
It appears that much higher doses are required to damage the cytoplasmic membrane
than to disorganize the processes ubich induce cell division. The substances
leaking from the spores as a result of irradiation resemble those i-hich characterize
the wvjdate or physiological germination. Orig. art. hast U figures and 3 tables.

carbon isotopes in petroleum, coal and rock types of inland origin, as well an the
isotope composition of carbon dioxide gas. Orig. ^rt. hast 5 figures and 1 table.
