AB,'-.TRACT; An investigE,tion is made of the possibility of reducing the
silicon content of scheelite concentrate by flotation oi the
leached -,oncentrate by alkyl sulfate. Flotation is based on the
use of sorne of the minerals present in the scheelite concentrate
(scheelite, pyroxene, and quartz passing a 115 mesh screen).
The following flotation procedure has been developed for veri-
fication 3n a larger scale: 1) Washing the concentrate after
leaching. 2) F-otation with a solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:(6-8).

ABSTRACT- A prElsentation (if the results of an investigation of the action of oily
collector agents (OCA) (kerosene, transformer oil, lubricating oils,

of the marginal wetting angles with respect to molybdenite, scheelite,

polar substances. The collecting properties of the OCA's are en-

Title The Use of Arinoquinaerine in Trichomoniasis of Bulls.
Orig Pub Sots. tvar4l-nnitstvo, 1958, No 3, 57-59
Abstract Bulls affected with trichomoniasis were treated with in-
fusions of aminoquinacrine (1) into the preputial sac
(250 ml of a 1-2 perceilt solution) and with intravenous
injections of the preparation (twice with an interval
of 48 hours, a 0.0035 U/kg dose of the solution was given.
Of a total of 26 treated bulls, 5 bulls were found to
have trichomonades. Pregnancy and parturition progressed
normally in cows and heifers which were mated with cured
bulls. Used in the above mentioned dosage, (I) proved to
be nontoxic. -- P.P. Pirog
