ABSTRACT: The phase diaRram of the zirconitim-cobalt system was studiedl
by microaggpic pnd_ ---ray diffractlen metho.cjs~from room temperature up
to 9500C. The existence of the chemical compounds ZrCo, Zr2Co, and I
Zr3CO crystallizing from the liquid state and forming broad regions of
mechanical mixtures of eutectic and peritectic types was established for
the first time and the structure of the compounds was determined. The
existence of the chemical compound ZrC02 was also confirmed. CoZr has
CsCl-type cubic lattice with a 3.163 * 0.003 CoZr2 has a CuA12-
-type tetragonal lattice with a 6.425 1 0.003 c = 5.726 * 0.003 A

ABSTRIM The present work is a continuation of the two previous ones
(Zhurnal Tekhn. Fiz., 1955, Vol 25, Nr 4, P 590 and Zhurnal Tekhn.
Fiz-, 1956, Vol 26, Nr 8, P 1723). The initial material was
supplied in form of little plates by the ill-Union Scientific
Research Institute for Artificial Fibres. The temperature depend-
en"s of the dielectric losses of hardened and tempered samples
of golycaprolactome were investig%ted in intervals of from 20 -
150 at frequencies of 10 - 5.10 Hz. In the tempered polycarpo-
lactome the maximum dielectric relaxation losses were found to
exist. In the case of hardened polycaprolactome a second maximum
was, in addition, noticed on the temperature curves tg 6 (angle of
dielectric losses), the position of which remains the same at all
frequencies. It wan possiblerby means of infrared spectroscopyj
to confirm the supposition that this maximum of tg 6 is oonnedtod
with an additional formation of the hydrogen compounds in the

ing group. This commission was created to cut down

es are organized for workers to teach them how to
