ABSTRACT~ The authors give more detailed information about the ass~m-
ly described ir. issue 11 and 12 of this periodical '9'57.
Apart from its basic purpose, it can also be used to pi-k

PERIODICAL: Radio, 1958, Nr 7, pp 38-40 (USSR)
ABSTRACT: Th8 43LX2B is a rectangular tube with a deficetion ur.6le -,f
70 giving a E:ood quality picture size 27 x 36 cr.. The
conversion necessitates replacing the output stage uni':~~ ,f
the horizontal. and vertical sweeps (Figure 1). A more pr,,.--r-
ful tube is uved for the output stage of the vertical s-aeol,
and the choke ia replaced by an output tran-;f'crme'r. In t,ir-
hori7nntnl swoep the output tube is replaced by one mor,~
powerful, and the old transformer by a new one, with a t,Lp-
ping for the henotron. Constructional details and hintz fk,r
the conversion are given. There ar 0 A drawines and 1

PERIODICAL: Radio, 1958, Pir 8, pp 35-37, 32e ( taSO R
ABSTRAM The transmitter is designed for use ir. radlo "fox1hunting"
competitions which are held in brok.~n, wooded country at
a range of 3-5 kri, where an output of 1.5-2 w Is neerled,
The set is a two stage transmitter. The grid circuit of
the master generator is tuned to the basic frequency in the
1!4-146 mc band, and tho anodo circuit to the rerin bnH fro-
quency, 145 mc. Grid mcdultition in used and a milliammetcr
and coup'ling coil oerve as a tuning indicator. The second
stage is a push-pull amplifier. Full constructional and
alignment dntails are given. The heaters draw 12,6 v and
the HT is 100-200 v with a consumption of 50 ma. A rod an-
tenna may be used, but best results are achieved with a
disc-cone system. There are 6 diagrams, and 1 table.

ABSTRACT: The dimensions of a transistor radio depend on the
dimensions of its components, especially the loud-
speaker and the variable capacitor, The author there-
fore furnishes instructions for building loudspeaker,
variable capacitor, volume control and the housing
of a pocket-size transistor receiver. On p 3 of the
cover, these parts are illustrated by detailed dia-
grams. There are 4 diagrams.
