ABSTRACT: An approximate method is developed for numerically inteeating some non-
T:'linear differential.equations of n-th order in a finite interval of variation of the
'independent variable or in a specified interval of the unknown function. The method
Pconsists of a step by step integration of the equation, and in each sufficiently
."small step the coefficient of the equation and the free term are assumed to be con-

stant and equal to their value at the beginning of the step. Thus) at each step, t
T. -problem reduces to integration of a linear equation with constant coefficients, whigh
is carried out in quadratures, and to a determination of the corresponding Integra-.-
T"tion constants from the conditions at the start of the step. The method is applicable
to quasilinear equations, i.e.) to equations that are close to linear. An eatimte,

ABSTRACT: At the end of the year 1958 an All-Union Conference shall
be called for the purpose of generalizing the first ex-
perience in the reorganization of the MTS which shall also
work out the necessary recommendations on the further Der-
fection of the production of collective economy. Accor-
ding to the opinion of the collaborators of the institute
it would be necessary to establish special repair shops in
the kolkhozes. The service stations existing in the country

farms with spare parts for tractors, harvester threshers,
motor vehicles and others. The workers of the K-TS which
change over to the kolkhozes must maintain their earnings
and the rights of workers and employees of a state enter-
prise. The agricultural secondary schools should adapt the
science of a-ricultural machines as a subject. The questions
of the financing of kolkhozes are considered as very impor-
tant. A current amortization must also be organized which
requires a revaluation of the kolkhoz property. For the
purpose of buying fuel and lubricants the working capital
of the kolkhozes must be increased and the problem of bank
credits settled. The existing method of the raising of mo-
ney and buying must be changed, the state should make se--
veral years contracts with the kolkhozes. An economic esti-
mation of the country as well as a correct determination of
the dimensions and the drawing of the differential revenue
shall also be performed. The problem of soil-land-registers,

tial revenue should within a short period be realized by
the AS USSR (Soil Institute and Institute of Economics)
and other scientific research institutes as well as the
corresponding state organs.
The collective of the Institute for Philosophy AS USSR
in its plenary meeting discussed the measures of the
communist party and the Soviet government concerning the
future development of the kolkhoz order as well as the
reorganization of the machine and tractor stations. The
following persons took part in the meetingi representati-
ves of the kolkhozes, functionaries of the MTS, represen-
tatives of public organizations of the Novo-Petrovsk
district, region of Moscow, P. N. Fedose7ev, Director of
the Institute for Philosophy, in his report emphasized
that the problem of the reorganization of the MTS not
only was of a practical but also of a great theoretical
importance. In the discussion I. M. Bakay, Director of

tiative which is at present observed among the kolkhoz
farmers and mechanizers. V. P. Chertkov spoke on the form
of development of socialist society. To. A. Stepanyan em-
phasized that at present a further approach of two forms
of property takes place in the kolkhoz village, the kol-
khoz property drawing towards the people's property. A. V.
Korneyevp President of the kolkhoz w1skra", V. K. Favlov,
President of the kolkhoz "Nikollskoyell, N. A. Pokina, Se-
cretary of the RIC KPSS, Novo-Petrovskoye, reported on com-
plicated processes in the Soviet village. A. T. Fedorova
spoke on the necessity of improving the teaching of histo-
rical materialism. M. D. Kammari, chief editor of the perio-
dical "Voprosy filosofii" advocated the opinion that the
philosophers should more deeply penetrate into the problems
of economics. The assembly approved of the solutions of the
further development of-the kolkhoz order and outlined a
number of concrete measures for the future.
