TRANSTAT-101-7: An experimental investigation was made of the influence of dc pulses,
obtained by discharging a capacitor, on the leakage currents of a p-n JunctiorL it
.-,-.g observed that passage of pulses with energy 5 x 10-2 J leads to an appreciable
reGuction of the leskage current. With increasing pulre energy, this effect de-
c~pasi~-, and the inverse effect is then observed. Tt is proposed that the 1eakage
