M. Tararmko and A. P. Zevf (Energomashinostroyeniye, No 6. 1960 and No 5. 1963) are criticized: some of the conditions formulated by the latter authors are sufficient but not necessary conditions coincide with those usually considered in con- nectionwith.load variations. -The independence conditions are developed mathe- matically, and both the design formulas and the matrices are presented. Also the following points are considered: practicability of the independence conditions, lutonomous (independent) system synthesis, conditions of static independence. Orig. cart. has: 5 formulas. Doklady, v. 165, no. 2, 1965, 285-288 TOPIC TAGS: automatic control theory, nonlinear automatic control, mathematic model, mathematic operator, operator equation ABSTRACT: The solutions of certain problems of automatic control (particularly the t.fulfilment of the invariance requirement in nonlinearcontrol systems) reduce to the construction of an operator which is inverse (from the right) of the control object operator A defined as (p(f) A[p(t)], (1) Here & (t) is a vector function composed of control organ coordinates, 6,(t) is com- posed of the coordinates of the processes under control, and t is time. It is assume, that (1) consists of a system of equations (algebraic, nonlinear differential non- stationary, integral, or functional) which may be solved on a mathematical model con- sisting of a finite number of integration, differentiation, displacement, and func- tion (of one or several variables) blocks, The scheme containing ~he blocks of the mathematical.model and the connecting links is termed the design realizing the opera- Cord l /') L 8-314-66 ACC NR. The results of the investigation arepresented in the form of 2 theorems and I lenmm. The solution is close to the one proposed earlier by K. D. Zhuk (Avtomatika, No. 4, 1964) for the linear case. To speed up and simplify the conversionan instrument has been developed in which translation is initiated merely by pushing buttons. The circuit is shown in Fig. 1. The starting pulse is formed in the tube J11 by pressing button Ki . This pulse is lengthened in the single-shot multivibrator ~n 2 The length of the stable pulse is determined by the capacitors, any combination of which can be selected by means of the push- button switch K2 . Principles are proposed for the construction of an associative memory device utilizing ferrite memory cores, which makes it possible to read several digit positions simultaneously. The length of each number in the associative memory device is divided into two parts. One of these serves to remember information according to one of the parameters Unformation I) while the second remembers information according to another parameter (information II)j The associative memory device perfor-ins the storage and search cycles. A block diagr is presented showing the flow of information I and information II to various computer elements. A new storage device is described which is free from this shortcoming; it is designed with biaxes, and the search depends on certain indicants of the number. The number is subdivided into two parts which correspond to certain informational parameters. The storage location of the number is subdivided into three portions; in the first portion, a part of the number is recorded; the second portion is used for storing the addresses of free locations; in the third portion, the rest of the number which serves for searching purposes is recorded. The third part of the location can be interrogated digitwise in time sequence. If the digits of the search register and the number location coincide, a difinite-polarity pulse will appear in the output trunk . The locations that contain information coinciding with the sought-1 for information are singled out by coincidence detectors. An erasing pulse is applied to one of such locations, and the sought-for information is transcribed into main ztorage. Zero is recorded in the second part of the location which shows that the Card 1/2 UDCz 681,142,652.2 r I . ~ ~-- 17, ACC NR: AR7004319 - I I location is free. " P. A. Shumskiy, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, was the leader of the team. Two-tractors and six sledges were the transportation means. The team made 375 km in one and a half months. On February 15th, the first shortwave radio contacts were established with ama- teurs of Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Forty contacts were established with Ivan Glushin, a radio amateur in Khabarovsk. Several antenna arrange- ments were tested: a thirty-meter long antenna was spanned between two masts; a similar antenna was spread on the snow; a six-meter rod antenna was also used. VEB Karl Zeiss""na, and the Ni-VZ, made by the jftmgarjqq_2ptIcaj factory MOM;14ere field-tested near Moscow in 1963 and used during the 1963 Kazakh expea-It-lon76'r io_V6 khoz to survey the possible route of the Irtysh-Ishim canal. An analysis of the comprehensive data presented in this article shows that the leveling accuracy for double (single) path is 2 - 3 mm. (2. 5 - 4 mm) per 1 km for the Koni 007 instrument, and 3 - 4 mm (4 - 6 mm) for the Ni-VZ instrument. Both in- struments are resident to, shocks encountered during travel on poor quality village roads. During high wind or heavy traffic nearby, the filaments of the Ni-VZ instrument acquired excessive vibrations leading to unreliable readings. No such effects appeared on the Konl 007 instrument. The'use of these leveling Instruments reduced by about 20 - 25% relative to the ordinary instruments the. amount of time needed for the leveling operations. "Students Yu. ISoldatov and K. Shetinina participated in the work with the leveling instruments." Orig. art. T-has: 7 formulas, 2 figures, and 2 tables. A standard radar installation of following specifications was used: carried frequency'72 Mq; sending frequency 50 Pulses per second; pulse capacity 80 kw. The wave channel antenna was orientated westwards at an inclination angle of 220 towards the hori- zon plane. The medium point of the antenna was located at the level of two wave- lengths above the earth, Meteoric echos were registered onto a F4 -3 (RF-3) tape moving at 310 mm1h. Observations continued for 1,528 h during which 12,328 mete- ors were registered, 2,050 of them lasting 1 sec or longer.
