amounts to 900. The phase differences of seismographs can b~ mea-
~6ured by the method of I,issajous fi~~ures -- by means of thy; compa-
rison of the seismograph under test with standards or with an equi-
valent active resistance. The calculated permissible frequency de~-
�viations are, for simplicity, converted into the dimension~~ of the
small semiaxis of the T,issajous ellipse (a table is compiled for
frequencies of 20 - 80 c/s). An estimate is made of the po~~sible
limits of the deviations in the sei~smograp0~~secaD H ithlyncoincident

TEXT: Anew type of paw oelectric pressure seismograph is dE;scribed.
This is made of polarized barium--titanate ceramics and has F~ sensiti-
vity that is pr;~.ctically independent of the temperature in the in-
terval 0 - 1000, a high mechanical strength, and highly stable elec-~
~trical parameters. The seismograph consists of: 3-4 cylindr:i.cal de-
tectors (summar;y capacity of 0.07~,uf.), connected in parallel; a
shunting resistance (180 k.n); and a coordinating transformea^ (high--
resistance winding inductivity of ~8t~0 h. , transformation coeffi-
cient of 10). These are placed in an oil-filled plastic hasaa which
is joined to the seismic scythe. Formulas were derived from the ana-~
