Abstract: (Authors' Eungarian summary] The pla5ma of twc "insulin-resistant'
diabetic patients was found to greatly reduce the effect of the generally
used insulin mixture (prrparrd from cattl(,_shr~t-p_.,~winl, pancrr~a5) in in-vitro
exprrimrnts. Similarly, th~ r,::,ults of i.v.insulin loajirw ' t( sts an :)f tlhc,

found to be cffective in both in-vivo and in-vitro experiments. ~ssumin,, the

Part II. A study was made of the separation of
mixtures of isomeric nitrotoluenes and nitro-
chlorobenzenes, by fractional distillation and
crystallization. Mononitration of toluene is
carried out by addition at 250 of mixed acid
containing 2EI% HNO,3 and 56.5% HISC~, in an
amount of 99% of the theory. The resulting mix-
ture of isomeric mononitro-toluenes (yield 96%)
contains 60% o-nitro-, 34% p-nitro- and 4%
m-nitro-toluene. By distillation of this mixture
through a column, 12 mm in diameter, 110 cm high,
containing a spiral packing, at 12 mm Hg, are
obtained the following: light cut 0.5%, fractions

(1959).-The com. production of AcH by reaction between ilij (110
C311s and steam has been Investigated. It was found that
the activity and selectivity of the ZnO-Zn phosphate catalyst
can be varied between wide limits. However, the compn.
of the catalyst is unstable. The almorption of AcH, C,11,,
and Ble,CO on various catalysts was investigated. A
method of calcu. is given for the simultaneous evaluation of
the sorption and polymerization of MLICO. The iate of
each process step can be controlled by additives which
change the apparent electron concn. on the surface of 14.
catalyst. The mechanism of the hydrution of Czll is ex.,
plained by a general glycol-type transition complex.1

alkylating agents under the Influence of protons which were
formed from HjO at lattice defects of the A130i. The dona-

K;;~ation of CJJ. could proceed through s(nne intermediate
stage.

TITLE: Determination of the critical amplification factor in multiple-storage
control circuits on the basis of the Nyquist stability criterion
SOURCE: Meres es automatika, ve 13, no, 5, 1965, 146-149
TOPIC TAGS: control circuit, linear control system
ABSTRACT: The published methods for employing the Nyquist stability cri-~
terion for the determination of the critical amplification factor in
.multiple-storage control circuits were extended and used for the pre-
paration of a series of equations. With the aid of these equations
is is possible to calculate rapidly and conveniently the critical an-
gular frequency of linear control lloops with multiple capacities. The
.equations involvej-fn-these calculations were given and examples were
presented to illustrate their appi-ications. Orig. art. has: 18 formulas and I table.
