ABSTRACT: The authors describe an experiment, by means of which colloid
solutions of polyethyleneterphthalate (with a concentration
of 4.5%) and polycaprolactam (with a concentration of 2%),
were prepared for the first time. The solutions were obtain-
ed according to the following methods. One to two g of a
powderized polycaprolactam crumb w gre dissoved in 50 ml of
glycerine previously warmed to 200 C. Under intensive mix-
ing and cooling the obtained solution was poured in a fine
stream into an equal volume of a carbosoline C ~0-5%) water
solution, which had been previously cooled to 5 C. 3.5 9 of
a powdgrized polyethyleneterephthalate crumb were dissolved
Card 1/2 at 190 C in 40 ml of dimethy1formamide. Under intensive

mixing and at; room temperature, the obtained solution was
poured in a fine stream into an equal volume of a vater so-
lution of preparation OC-20 (21%.). The authors also examined
some physical. and chemical qualities of the obtained sols.
The results are specified in a special table. 1"here are 2
photos and 5 references, 3 of' which are Soviet and 2 English.
