pathoi-enesis of the Crush syndrome, the authors describe the course anc
treatment of a case which developed after a mining accident. The patient was
entombed for 10 hours. After rescue, ty-pical symptoms of the Crush syndrome
developed and several extracorporal hemodialysis treatments were needed to
save the patient.The current principles of treatment for the syndrome are
summarized by the authors. 1 Hungarian, 15 Western references.
