during gear milling for single-tooth and aggregate milling. The cutting tempe-
rature is measured with the aid of natural thermocouples, t'Za blank being insula-
ted from the machine tool. The temperatures readings were recorded on a cinefilm
with the aid of the Mf10 -2 (MPO_2) loop osclillograpti, The following facts were
established as a result of t~~e investigationse 1) The results of temperature
investigation$ are the most signi�,inative f`ar single-tooth milling. 2) The
milling Dotter teeth do not warm up uniformly. During normial milling conditions
the temperature of the cutter middle teeth attains X04 - 60~J�C. Tt is recommend-

collector. The electric circuit of the device consists of the feed unit, the sound
generator of the ZCi-10 type, and the amplifier. If a resistance potentiometer is in-
stalled in the circuit it is po~-sible to obtai~~ 5 ranges of different sensiti`-Q:ness,
The current at the output of the amplifier, which is the g~~ge !`or the torque i;a be
measured, is recorded by a loop oscillograph. Examples of operating and KaB~~B
aseillograms are stated, and also a gaging graphic of one c~~f tri.e measuremer_t ~~anges,
which shores the linear relation between the torque to be m~~lasux~~ed and the ind'lcatian
of the oscillograph, ~tesults are given of the investigatican oi'.' the dynamics of gear
