TEXT: It is assumed t~atll the ends of the shell are hinged, the
motion of 'the liquid is botential, the walls of the cavity are two
concentric cylinders. The,problem is considered in linear formula-
tion. For natural axially symmetric vibrations of a shell of in-
finite length,- the problem is solved in terms.of cylindrical func-
tions. For a shell of,finite length the tangential acceleration is
neglected and the liquid is.assamed to be incompressible. The se-
paration of variables leads.to two differential equations which
are reduced to an infinite system of.-algebraic equations by the
Bubnov-Galarkin a4thod: to obtain an approximate solution one can
take a finite syl3tem of 9 equations. Ther4 is 1 figure.

!PURPOSE AND COVERA'GE: This book contains the results of the author's
istudies over a period of years on the changes of biological cur
iin the brain during conditioned-reflex activity. Use of the newest e-
;quipment and methods allowed a detailed investigation of the interrela-
~tion of stimulatory and inhibitory processes at the cortical level to
Ibe made. The first experimentally valid application of N. Ye. Vveden-
isklyls concept of lability in the analysis of factors and principles,
