Abstract The fractional composition of proteins in the somatic
muscles of rabbits at various Stages of embryonic anal
past-natal development was studied by means of free
electrophoresis and paper electrophoresis. There was
a great difference in th.e fractional eonposition of :.~.~:~-~
ct~].aac proteins between F:mbrvonic axed ner+-born rabbits,
on one hand, and adult e,nimel.s on i:he other tuuld. The
