Abstract: [Authors' Hangarian summary] The authors discuss the experi-
ences gained durting treatment of 30 patients with tulareiiia. The majori-
ty of the cases appeared in the cutanec-glandulare form. The anamnesis
very often contained report on the contact with wild rodents, mainly
rabbits The diagnosis of the disease is based mainly on cixtaneous and
agglailLilon tests for tularemia. Other laboratory tests show no
specificity characteristic of the disease. Straptcmycin.:. was effective
for the treatment of the majority of the cases. 4 Eastern European,

ABSTIUCT.' The study was made in order to obtain data for a mothod of separating
light radioactive rare earth elements for purposes of nuclear "atroscopy from
gadoliniun targets bombarded with 680 HaV protons. Most interesting axiong the
products of the nuclear reaction are isotopes with the relatively short half-lifa of
0.5-5 hrr whose rkloid chromatographic separation made it necessary to work with
systems in which the distribution coefficients were sman. Systems of this type were
investigated by studying the anion-exchange adsorption of radioactive gadoliniun and
europium (obtained from a tantalum target irradiated with 680 KeV protons) on the
