TITLE: The KfAik T531 Oscilloscope W:-th a Built-in Voltage
Calibration

ABSTRACT: Recently '.his periodical invited readers to write a-
bout inno-vations they use in factories; the authDr
responded, sending a description of a modified Kfi~ik
T531 oscilloscope with built-in voltage calibration
whose circuit diagram is in Fig 1. Fig 2 presen's the
best r1acement of the disconnecter and of the p(;tentio-
meter. The voltage calibration can be carried oiit in
a rang-e of 0.~ v to 300 v depending cn the interior
7resistance of the used voltmeter. The measuring error
is about 15%. The described device has, the author
asserts, several advantages: 2) it replaces a K~Aik
T565 oscilloscope; 2) it avoids more comDlicated and
slow calibratlon methods- 3) the voltage regulation

In a male aged 65 suffering from bacterial endocarditis of the right aortic valve of
4 weeks' duration. a deep erosion of Valsalva's sinus and an absc,!SS formation in the
ventrocranial portion of the muscular septum with subsequent terminal perforation
into pulmonary artery occurred. The perforation of the septum was diagnosed
clinically. Coronary arteriosclerosis and myocardial infarction of the septum were
considered to be the primart condition, because the clinical picture in the course of
8 days' hospitalization was not characteristic of bacterial endocarditis. A detailed
analysis of the case from the anatomical and clinical point of view was made.

ABSTFACT: Copper tubes 10 x I and 10 x 2 mm (OL.tSide diameter x wall thickness) and
.17246 stainless-steel (AIS1321] tubes 10 x 1.5 mm were explosion bonded to 17246 steel
tUDe plate 35 = thick, in the case of stainless-steel tubes, the explosive bonding
produced no adverse effects in the tubes or tube plate. The toughness and suscepci-,
bilizy to general and stress corrosion in the case of explosive bonding were generally
equal to those observed with conventional fastening. In copper tubes at both wall

TEXT: A patent is delivered for a new method of manufacturing heat ex-
changer ribs. A metal strip is passed through opectal rolls 1. 2 (P4pre 1)
producing two-sided corrugation. The corrugaticm height deureases towsid the
strip center. The rolls produce along the strip axis a uniform strap of wim
a (Figure 2). After bending, the strip is out along the central line 4 of the
strap. In this shape the rib is prepared to be wound onto a conducting pipo.
