L -MQOZ-66 ACC IM: Ap6ol22og AUTHOR: Novikov, A. V.; Penyaz', M. A. ORG: none TITLE: Choice of certain parameters for alit analyzer of the field of view SOURCE: Optiko-mekhanicheakaya pronWahlennost, no. 4, 1966, 6-9 TOPIC TAGS: optic analysis, optic tracking, signal analysis, signal shape, error prediction ABSTRACT: The authors analyze the field of view of optical-mechanical devices in which the coordinate of the moving target is determined by the intersection of two Muminated lines, wherein the linear distance between the Muminated lines in the horizontal direction represents the measured coordinatess and the relative position of the line represents the sign of the coordinate. The calcula- tions are made for an analyzer made in the form of a rectangular alit which executes reciprocating motion in the analysis plane (Fig. 1). The results apply also for the slit analyzers based on motion along a spiral, helix, etc. Formulas are derived for the rate of analysis of the field of view required to stay within a prescribed error (analysis frequency), for the modulation frequency of the light SOME CODE: UFV0237/66/ooo/oo4/ooo6/ooo9 Card 1/2 uDc: 62 L 30082-66 ACC M: Ap6ol22og Fig. 1. A comparative evaluation of liquid oxygen and liquid helium action on isolated gonads before transplantation to domestic sparrows CITED SOURCE: 3b. 3 Vses. konferentsiya po peresadko tkanoy i anov, 1,963, VOPIC TAGS: sparrow, gonad, transplantation. testis.. oxygen, helium, freezing, low.tomporaturep liquid oxygen, liquid helium, preservation TRANSLATION: Experiments were staged in the fall when testes of sparrows are in an inactive state and weigh 2 to 3 mg. In the Ist series testes were frozen for 30 lain in liquid helium'(-2690C), in the 2nd series in liquid oxygen$ in the 3d series in liquid helium with a protective medium (6 mol of ethylene glycol), in the 4th series in liquid oxygen with a protective medium, and the 5th series served as a control, After thawing, the testes were transplanted iato the Card 1/2 Mqmnff~ L 19793-65 ACCESSION NR-. AR4045768 0 body cavities of the castrated males. In all experimental series.. birds were exposed-to 1.6 hrs of sunlight daily for 50 days after the operation to stimulate the, trans lanted gonads. In the control series accretion took place in 9D of the OXP6rimentsp spermatogenesia was oomplatoly restored,, and woight of testes reached 145 mg by the end of tho experiment. Testes did not aocretoafter being frozen in helium, testes did accrete in 3eo of the cases after being frozen in oxygen, but the gonads were sterile. Results were considerably improved with the use of a protective medium: acoretion was found in 83% of the cases after freezing inhelium and 91% of the cases after freezing in oxygen. Spormatogenesi3 was found in moot oases,, and testes increased considerably in size by the end of the experiment,, but not as much as control testes, SUB CODEt LS- ~BXCL: 00 Card 2~/P- SUPMIPlIKO, R.S.; PRITYKIT, D.P.; IWIKOV, B.G.; KISSIV, D.A.; BEMIITEYN, R.S.; SHABLIMIKO, r.D.
