ABSTRACT: The 500-mill considered in this article consists of nine two-
high stands. The wide variety of sections rolled by this mill
requires a very large roll-store. Examples are briefly given of
sefiemes for regrindiDg rolls which have considerably increased
their service life when rolling channels, bars, rails and re-
inforcing rounds. There is 1 diagram.

Abstract: Besults of use of the method of seleetion of
fertile eggs depending on the hatching of the em-
br7onal disk showed that the accuracy of deter-
mination of the fertility of eggs fluctuates
strongly. In candling, the embryonal disks
located deep in the yolk or eccentrically near the

of monochromatic X-ray radiation without the need to modify the
electronic system of the Mikrometa II. The device consists of an
'ionization chamber whi-ch can be manufactured according to the do-

an amplifier. The described device works on the feedback prin-
ciple and enables reaching a stability of X-ray radiation inten-

TRANSLATIONt This is a survey of existing methods of determining corrections for
the equinoctial point and equator of the fundamental catalogues according to
observations of the Sun. Moon, large and small planets, as well as data on the
development of fundamental systems of steller positions all the way up to the
modern FK3, FK4, and GC catalogues. The results of presently completed determina-
tion of 4!6 A and 41. B are included. It is noted that the most reliable deter-
min.ation of j& A and 416 B must be obtained from observations of the small
planets. However, meridional and photographic observations of the small plants
are found in the most varied catalogues; in order to reduce these observations
to a single system, the articl includes tables of systematic differences for
