Abstract: In 1956, an experiru-.nt was carried out of varieties
and hybrids of corn on the fields of the "Dawn of
the Commune" X-,lkhoz in Minsk oblast, vith the
purpose of developing a combination value of re-
lated forms. According to preliminary data, the
varieties VIR 1094, Gloriya Yanetskogo, Mandorfs-
kayn, Verkhovinskaya and others are characterized
