Abstract: The link lengths, free valency indices and wave wimbers of the
first allowed electron transitions werv computed by the simple
MOLKAO method for the first terms of the polorryleme eai poly-
anthene series (terylene, quaterylene, teranthene). The r!sults
received for bis-anthene previously (peat I, RZhLKhim., 1956,
53607) are quoted for comparison. It vas found that 1) the
length of links connecting separate naphthalene (or, corres-
pondingly, anthracene) structural unite; is greater than all the
other link lengths in the molecule and vary between 1.440 and

Nine clinical cases of myocardial infarction are preser, ted. all of uhich initially
presented an increase in arterial pressure, which lasted for a peri.od ranging from
afewhoursto 2or 3days, Intheauthors' statistics, this situation was found in 113
of cases. The mechanism of this increase In pressure seems to be a neuroreflex.

ABSTRACT: The evaluation of m.ethods used at prevent is given.
Ihs tests are described and compared. It is impongible, to select
a test that would have an overall validity. There are at present
two approaches In new tests developmontp one ic to develop a
greater number of very, epecific tests and the other to generalize

that a vingle, test could supply the pertinent Infornatione

ABSTRAM: The manufacture of turbine blades from high-alloy creep-
-resistant materials has been investigated. Casting of these alloys
are produoeC by any of the known foundry techniques, preferably by
precision c4sting. Wwer cost, much less machining, and the possibility
f prodUcIng intricate shapes are some of the many advantages of using
0
precision'casting blades. -Cast blades are easier to make but their
operation is poorer than that of forged parts. Forged blades are
more uniform in mt,%chanical properties,, they are more easily controlled
and their fatigue properties are betterj but they:are more difficult
to manufa-tture. The Skoda Works have developed a manufacturing process 2-'
