A201/AI26 radioisotope) for 16 hours prior to the experiment. A vibrating table was used for the agitation of the solution during the adsorption on the samples. The vibrati-oro of the table were produced by an electromagnet fed from a.c. line. 01~1 the table were placed crystallization dishes with 50 milliliters (ml) of the working solu- tion with Pr-143, and a series of 7 samples. The solution, with the samples was agitated either by vibrations (100 oscillation$/see) with an amplitude of -0.1 mm, or by a magnetic agitator (150,rpm); at, times, it yas left undisturbed. A con- trol solution with samples-was agitated in Erlenmaye r flasks by a flutter mixer (J.5 oscillations/see, 12 mm amplitude). After the pre3eleched adsorption time the fi.-ter-paper and wool-fabric samples were quickly rinsed three times in I ml of 96% ethanol, using a suction cup to remove the superfluous radioactive sola.'-.1on. The r..ibber and Silon samples were rinsed by successive submerging in "-.-hree dishes with 96% ethanol for 3 - 5 seconds. Previous checks had shown that 96% et-hanol does not cause desorption of Pr-143 from the sorbents during such a short"ime. Aft,er drying the samples, beta activity on either side of each sample was measared by a beta counter with a window mass of 1.54 mg/cm2. The percent-age of the isotop-t adsorption was calculated from the activity ratio on I.cm2 of the sample geometric surface to the act-livity of I ml of the working solution. AN SSSR, v. 10, no. 3, 1965, 230-235 TOPIC TAGS; moon, lunar motion, lunar crater ABSTRACT: A series of positions of the crater Moesting A relative to the observed edge of the lunar disk was measured to find the parameters of the physical libration. After completing all the necessary reductions the process of observation analysis leads to two basic steps: a) determination of the position of the crater relative to the observed center of the lunar disk; b) determination of the desired parameters. I X. Koziel has shown that the separate calculations of the first and second steps lead to an incorrect determination of the desired magnitudes because of not considering e weights of the intermediate unknowns and has proposed a new method of an alysia. However, this method, in fact, preserves the deficiencies of the old methods. In the present article relations between the quantities determined from observations and the desired quantities are derived, which permits avoiding the determination of auxiliary unknorns in the analysis process and thereby producing the anal i in on step.- t7s 8 e Bibliography of 6 citations. Numerical formulas are applied to the cases of flow around a symmetric and a bent profile within a homogeneous field of flow. The calculation is then extended to the flow around the same profiles organized into a lattice. Calculation may also be carried out In the case of inhomogeneous flows. It was published in a paper with this same title [WzkumnA ZprAva V'OTS VT-Z 5326]. In this paper the author presents a much mo re accurate theory. He solves the equations controlling the phenomenon and obtains: a) an expression for the distribution of vortex rings on the blade in terms of a trigonometric series; b) formulas for two components of the primary velocity multiplied by the distance from the axis of symmetry in terms of trigono- metric series. The recurrence relation for the coefficients' of the last series is very complicated. A numerical ex- ampl! shows that the computational work is considerable, even if one retains just a few terms of the series. It seems. that a numerical solution on a high-speed digital com uter is preferable. T.
