Abstra:ct: The natural conditions of Macedonia permit all varieties
of grapes to be raised, from those growing in July to the
winter varieties. Ever since 1952 four testing stations
and 28 vineyards have been org!3nized for cultivating
these plants. Vineyards in.11acedonia in 1957 have occu-
pied 4688-5 hectams. The- larger part of these belong
to the collectivized sector. Approxinately 60% ot the

correlating functions of various meteorological elements according to data covering
a 25-year period, and obtained from several meteorological stations in the southern

Abstract During the initial 2-3 weeks of chronic Pb injection to dogs (phase I
brain matter affected) the animals revealed general unrese; at the same bime
EEg showed and -waves., reduced amplitude of potentials and a failure of
the cerebral cortex to adjust to the rhythmic light stiratlus. A preponder-
ance of the inhibitory process was observed in phase II which was marked by
a normali ion of the condition (4-8th week - adjustment to the poison) and
of the EEG of the dogs. in the course of phase 321, the compensatory mechan-
isms became inadequate and EEG showel potentials characteristic of epilepsy;
bloody defecation and epileptic fits occurred. In phase IV preceeding death
the dogs fell into coma and EEG became flat.
