The authors report a granuloma of the liver in which no organisms were demon-
strated. Cultures from pus in the abdomen revealed streptocorci. In cultures from
the liver granulomas. Scopulariopsis hominis was found. Injection of this fungus
into animals showed subcutaneous lesions in the point of injection in rabbits, and
granulomata if given directly into the liver. Guinea-pigs and mice were not sus-
