TEXT: A polarographic method was developed for the determination of p-
nitro acatophenoneoximes (I) in the presence of nitroethyl benzene (II) and
other nitro derivatives in KC1 and acetate buffer supporting electrolyte from
the reduction waves of oxime (Ef = -1-32v). The optimum pH is around 4. Under
these conditions the wave height is proportional to the concentration of 1.
The presence of II in the solution does not influence the precision of the de-
termination. Two ml of 0.1 9 buffer solution and 1 ml of 1% M were added to
2 ml of 1% methanol solution of the analyzed sample and the resulting solution
was polarographed at a dropping Hg-electrode with the sensitivity of the galvano-
Zeter 1/300-1/500, Before each determination the solution was purged with H2
