The importance of the P~,ibram meteorite consists in the fact that it is the first meteorite photographed during Its flight through the Earth's atmosphere, and the single case of a precise instrumental observation of meteorite fall conditions; the observations enabled one to determine exactly its velocity, elements of the trajectory, etc. It was found that the meteorite belongs to the asteroid belt and that its space velocity was 20.9 km/sec. Of 17 pieces, presumed on the basis of photographic tracks, up to now 4 individual specimens with the total weight of 5.546 kg have been found, They were Card 1/2 Pr.&,Xue , prn ~ in -z ll~,zi 701 Vil, :!w 2 , 2'. The letter are chosen in such a way that their boiling points are below those of the aromatic hydro- carbons (AH) present in the respective fractions. An example: A starting mixture, free from AH that has a boiling poirt less than 115 0, is separated int-i the following fractions: i) to i3_5-14o0c, 2) 149-irl-140c, 3) 165-170001.
