P/008/62/000/004/062/002 D265/D303 AUTHORS: Golqdzinowski, Antoni, Master of Enginearingj~nnd Hzecznik, Wiktor ----------- - TIME: Copy-grinding of blades using abrasive belts PERIODICAL: Technika lotnicza, no. 41 1962, 112-119 The technology of copy-grinding using abrasive belts, for production ofturbine blades is describedg Various, types of abriasive belts ancl their .:properties are tabulated together with a detaileddescription of the.Cadam- co profile grinder which was used for testing the experimental abrasive belts procluced in Poland. A full descriptionof various experimental belts is.given andthe procedure ofAesting,,precautions Itakenand the results obtained are included.-The experiments did not consider the eff ect of cooling during profile:grinding. Conclusions.r.eveal that there are certain possibilities of producing suitable abrasive belts in Poland after further development work and in close co-operation between the mantt- facturers of belts and abrasives. Milled mustard., coarsely ground mustard and mustard oil were added to the juice in an amount of 0.05-2%, after which the Juice was stored at 70, 150 and 250 for 1 to 6 months. It was , found, ,that mustard phytoncides affect most strongly yeasts and molds. Card 1/1 Of low temqzera~ule. P.6. The properties of cryophyllic yeast are examined, the methods of fermentation at low temperatures, the effect upon the yield.bf alco- hol and the quantity of the wine produced. An experimental production in 1957 in,PNR ZT-olish People's Republic7 of 5,000 decaliters of fruit wine under condi7tions.of low temperature ferment- ation gave.positive results. The shortooming.of the method is.the comparatively time consuming fermentation. Twenty-one references. Card 1/1 Vblem of of in e .A low te~- ~--e P. However availability of aKy drinking water other than., the medicated one (such as rain puddles and dew) would decrease the effective- ness of treatment. 2 tables; I.Czech, 4 Polish, 4 Western references, =~a~ IMA Way PC I "o, WER ol d d us. -6 it, *PU T -F-tt, b for Ino 9 Of cgsdnp rep --A --- Lekarzy w Zakopanem (Kierownlk: prof. dr. Resection uf the lung tissue in the treatment of pulmonary tub, erculosis GRU2LICA 1956, 24/8 s I Tables I (163-774) Graph The indications for pulmonary resection in Poland should be adapted to the pre--. sent state of tb control. Anti m ic rob i altherapy both entarged and changed the in- dications, since it modifies the course of pulmonary tb..'rhe progress in the pathological examination of resected specimens established the worth of some of the indications, and also contributed to the inclusion into the indications of d le *ions, particularly caseous foci. We are witnessing the continuous the limite s evolution of indications for resection; simultaneously. other surgical treatment becomes more limited; thistreatment, however, should still be applied in selec- ted cases. The indications were divided into: emergency cases; established in- dications (when collapse therapy is not advisable); and non-cstablished, 1.e. cases in which collapse therapy might be applied. Emergency indications include: rupture of the cavity, and uncontrollable haeniorrhage. Established indications include: tuberculoma, destroyed lung, or destroyed lobe, cirrhosis, bronchiec bronchopleural fistula, bronchial stenosis, residual cavities, persistent caviti s, Le.: cavities which, due to either their localization or their character, c do not submit to the. action of combined therapy (drug therapy and collapse therapy). Other indications are also discussed, these include: empyema with the above-mentioned lesions of the lung parenchyma and the bronchi; also very infrequent cases of cavernolites , primary drug resistance and the the like. It should be pointed out that there are indications which can be decided upon at the operation, and indications which aim at preventing post- resectional complications. Finally, contra- indications are briefly discussed. Iaf.o~d.:i !Par qUar r so r 9 on a tn iL ogy.
