metabolism-The present authors found a marked difference in cholesterol level
between the femoral vein and the superior sagittal sinus. Investigations on the
CBS (Schulz reaction; polarization method) in the case of destructive processes
revealed an increased cholesterol level associated with the presence of fatty gran-
ule cells in the cerebral capillaries and the dural.sinus; the endothelial cells and
