ABSTRACT: In the paper cited below it is demonstrated that when computing the
seasonal variation in aeronomic parameters and take into account variations of.
temperature with height and time. This is feasible by constructirg a curve of
the annual dependence of the values of the characteristic number on solar zenith
angle. The characteristic numbers obtained in this way for the Year of the Quiet
Sun (1964) for one station correspond well to the intensity of solar x-radiation.

Abstract A test agilutination in solutions of sodium chloride
(0-5, 0-85, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 25%) was performed with
blood sera of 206 swine to be slau6htered. Suspensions
of Dr. abortus bovis were used as antiGens. A positive
result was obtained in 86 cases. The reactions were more
accurate and attained a hi(~her titer with a 5 and 10%
solution of salt than with a physioloGical solution. --

TEXT: A change in the level of losmic radio emission during a day-and-
night period leads to a change in the sensitivity of radar equipment, which fact
can markedly distort the diurnal distribution of the quantity of reflections
from meteors. Based an the fact that the level of cosmic noise at noon 10 times
lower than that in the morning hours, Sheyn and Kerr concluded that the noon
maximum of meteor quantity observed by them at a frequency of 18.3 Me in April-
May 1947 was actually non-existent. The author, making use of the isophots of
cosmic radio emission at the 18.3 Me frequency and taking into account the
absorption of cosmic radio emission in the ionosphere, corrected the observed
