Angioneurotic gangrene is marked by neoplasm in the
extremely fine capillary net in perivasoular cellular
tissue, and disrupts circulation between the main
arterial stems and their capillaries. This results in
deposit of blood in the extremities. This In turn
leads to changes in the blood itself, the gas ex-
change in tissues Is disrupted, and carbohydrate and

albumin deficiency begins. Treatment of spontaneous
gangrene involves equalization in metabolic processes.
Efforts were made to use oxygen therapy for this
purpose.

The balanced operation of semiconducting elements of a computer (analyzed in the
note "Elements of semiconducting computers") is verified in three basic components of a
parallel type machine: the register; counter and adder. Logical circuits of the com-
ponents mentioned are analyzed and a method and results of testing are presented. An ex-
perimentall investigation has been made on four types of each of the components.
Experiments were carried out by changing the ambient temperature, the voltage of the
supply source, by scattering the parameters of the ccmponents and replacement of the
semiconducting instruments, by humidity. The experiments showed reliable operation of the
set of conputer elements developed.

ABSTRACT: The possibilities are shown of how to use semiconductor
triodes in numerical calculating machines. By means of a
block of "movable registerso , the scheme of which is given,
the possibility of its application is proved. The register
mentioned can take up a numerical code and pass it on to the
left or right but it can also store a numerical code no
longer needed.
The main block is a tiecoder which brings about a
comparison of the states of neighbouring trigEers. A syritch-
-diaL-ram is given for the triggers. The radio-technical
units used are discussed. It is most useful to e-7.ploy
triodes with common emitters for the amolifiers used. With
such connections and with the aid of a transformer tuning

In the formation of polyamide structures, 7-membered rings may be converted to polymers
in 2 ways: polymerization and polycondensation. States that contrary to published
dataj conditions could be found under which N-methyleaprolactam forms polymers. The
resulting polymers were found to be tPore sensitive to heat than the polymers of
7-membered rings not substituted at the N-atom. Products of the combi-nation of E-amin-
ocaDrolactam with adipic and succinic acids were isolated. The addn oft -aminocaproic
acid to E -caprolactam significantly increases the relative viscosity of the polymer
in the early stage of the reaction.
