itnosed radlologically. The symptoms, if arty. are due to compliestloos. Con-
siderations (in 5 casen encountered among 6.000 radiological examinations art
presented. The railiological diagnosis depends on the accuracy with which the
examination Is carried out (different positions and incidencts). A thin-tayer
examination should be performed first. The radiological picture consists of a well-
marked round or oval spot *Ith regular margins, outside the gastric chstline. In
differential diagnosis. lptisterior recessus of the fornix and pseudodiverticula
should he eliminated. Medical treatment gives satisfactory results.

Abstract I Earb-fall and late-spring prunink; of grape vines results in
greater loss of plastic substances which leads to the weakening
of the bush and reduction of yield. The most proper time for
pruning Is the period of rest. The loss of carbohydrates is then
very small and the yield is maximum. Die period of rest is con-
sidered the time when the plant dces not vegetate and the tempera-
ture is still above freozingp (lAte-fall or early-spring). Nine
