Abstract : It is shown that the epoxy resins contain chlorohyd-
rin ph~niol., and partially diol Qnd groups in addi-
tion epoxy and groups. A series of resins was pre-
p,,tred by condensation of 2.2-bis-oxypk~renylpropuie
und epichloi-oh,)drin In %arious molar r_~lations be-
tweon 1:1 to 1:2 using the t1vixetic-1 qu,-.uitity of
NaOff. It, was established that the number of epoxy
groups, hytlro:,,vl f,,roups,, and chlorine differed con-
siderably from numbers ccmputed from cryoscopically de-
termined molecular weights and th,2 number of links in
