ABSTRACT: The present paper proves that the statistical sum calculated
by means of the Bohm - Pines , Migdal - Galitskiy - method in
consideration of a less rigorous additional condition supplies
a suitable classical expression already ath . The expression
for the statistical sum and the additional conditions for the
vectors M and 11~ > occurring therein are explicitly ,
written down. A unitary transformation is then carried out;
According to the results obtained by the present paper the-
additional condition suggested by H. Kanazawa must be mo
fied. There are 3 Soviet references.

Abstract: The principal product of condensing CHICOCH2COCH3

sulpha. The mixture is heated
(a reflex condenser, about 24 hours); the excess
is distilled with water vapour; the precipitate
is drawn off and washed with hot water; the non-
reacting II is separated from the washwater and
may be directed into the next operation of the

From Animals and Its Relation to Human, Influenza Viruses.

Abstract :A pneimnotropic virus (G1) which was pathogenic to white mice,
lien embryos and agglutinized hen erythrocytes, was isolated
from sick piglets. Electronoscopically, the virus has a glo-
bular form with a diameter of about 100 millimicrons. The
isolated virus is akin in its antigenic structure to the
Shoup pig's influenza virus and differs from hur-an influenza
-virus types A and D; In experiments on mice it was possible
to obtain an interference phenomenon between virus Gl and in-
fluenza viruses type A and B under specific conditions. I e-
