A nonlinear sim- ilarity method, in whicb.tbe similarity coefficients are.not constaht';*:___. but depend on the variables of the equation in question is used jorder to expand the range,of problems, tbat.can be solved by this method. The gist of the method is that the specified equation and-., 1the assumed transformed equation are simultaneously analyzed to es-'-. Several examples are given. New methods of.nonlinear and affine-nonlinear similarity are included. This method is particularly effective for ordinary differential equations and can make possible isotropic.transforma-- tions of many partial differential equations. Comparative histological and biochemical 276Tio studies revealed that the presence of a large amt of cholesterol esters in the brain matter around a sc:Vs due to disintegration of the myelin of the ne fibers. The greatest amt of cholesterol esters is formed when there is inflammation of the brain matter. Determination of individual fractions of cholesterol, during morbid conditions of trau- matl~c origin, may be used to diagnose the intensity of inflammatory and of destructive processes in the brain matter. Doklady, v. 21, no. 9, 1965, 16-19 TOPIC TAGS: degaaaing, butane, gasolinej, natural gas ABSTRACT: Natural gas contaiq 3 L rang 11.5 g gasoline per m was topped continuously by a countercurrent fluidized layer f activated carbon (0.5-1.5 mm) in a column at 5 atn T,'-,e gas was fed into the bottom of the column (250-3200C) at a rate of 25 m3/hr; gas '.i.ow in the colu-nn was 0.1 m/sec and carbon circulation was 100 kg/br. At a carbon/gas~ ratio of 4.0 kg/m3' extraction of gasoline0was 100% and that of biitanc was 90%. BY vaising the ratio to 6.0 kg/m3, butane extraction reached 100%. Lnrictiment of gas to aiI gasoline content of 115 gm/m3 did not impair efficiency of extraction. Presented by M. G. Nagiyev, Academician of the AN Azerbaydzhan SSR. Orig. art. has: 4 tables.
