the fissure appears. ENDeritzents, which were carried
out, showed that one and the sam method of preparation
of the plastic body should always be used in order to
compare different clays, viz.: it is necessr-ry to find
the rainimun aging duration of the body, mid to prepare
bodies of various moisture and one and the same aging
duration. Based on the above, a curve of the dependence
of 0 on the moisture has to be plotted. Tbere is always
a m3itm on that curve. In the ease of clays, which
difficultly become soaked, it should be found at whid'a

TEXTt In the present paper, an effort is made to localizo the energy con-
ception basing on the affine tensor density i which satisfies the

equation T i9k - 0. The considerations are based on the results obtained
by C. Moeller (Refewl, 2).. However, the two postulations, namely, that

ii is the affine tensor density and equals zero, are not compatible with
strict energy location when second-order derivatives of gik are the higheet

ones occurring in Ti , Moeller's theory of uniqueness (Ref. 2) makes it
possible to estimate up to which degree a location of energy may occur
under the assumptions made. Formulas (17) and (18) give, though in a
questionable extent, the maximum possibility of localizing energy. In fact

also the "history of the observer" should be introduced into the measure-
ment of energy. In order to avoid these diffioultiesq the afore-mentioned
postulations have to be omittedg or higher derivatives must be introduced.

Abstract : It has been established that the presence of Ag in the
amount of 1000 micrograms/liter of cream, exerts an unfa-
vorrable influence after 20 days upon the organoleptic and
chemical properties of milk fat. Washing of butter with
irater containing 1000 micrograms of Ag per liter does not
affect the milk.

ABSTRACT: The article deals with three types of networks of ADALW (adaptive logic element)
neurons designed for implementation of the functions of associative momory. In the first
system the received information Is stored in special memory registers. The classification is
accomplished during the readout process by means of adaptive-neuron classifiers. Associative
restoration is accomplished by means of tbe simultaneous training of the classifiers, with all
the registers transmitting signals to central control if their contents belong in the desired
class. The second form of memory has a branched structure and makes it possible to perform
classification partly during the recall and partly during the restoration. Ibis structure may,

TEXT: A grid of 20 secular variation points was set up in Poland
19155. Dae points are secured by granite columns; no building
and field distortion are to be expected in the next few years. The
adjacent area's field was examined; the horizontal gradients of Z
do not exceed 10#-/100 m. A map of Poland on a scale of 1:4,000,000
is ts-iven; it shows the locations of the points ind also of the

The next observations at all points were made in 1957. D, I, and
H were observed. The results of each series of determinations are
cited with an indication of the date and the time of the observa-
tions for each element separately. The values of seven elements,
reduced to the 1958 epoch, are given in a composite table. Obser-
vations were made in 1901 at 8 of the 20 points. Maps of the iso-
pores of the summary secular variation from 1901 to 1956 for the
elements D, I, and H were also prepared with respect to these 8
