The device is based or- the Jnciple of mechanical intersection. The airphoto is fixed horizontally pri .1. in the device and does not move, thus simplifying its mechanical and optical parts. It is designed for reconstructing airphotos (negativc?s or diaposi- tives) with different focal lengths, especially those obtained by planimet- xic air surveying with axial angles of up to 200 and with any focal length of the camera. The theory of the device is as follows: Fig. I shows the front- and end-views of the airphoto P with a focal length f and with the angle of inclination vf. .
